Hello! If we change our check in date after already making ADRs, will we lose our ADRs that are still within our stay? For example, if our WDWresort reservation was for April 1-12, but we change our resort reservation to April 3-12, would we lose any ADRs?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome back to planDisney and thank you so much for asking us another great question!

What you’re describing has happened to me quite often: I make my Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation, line up all of my Disney Dining Reservations the moment my booking window opens… and then I have to switch my arrival date due to some work or family emergency. Argh!

The good news is that, based on my experience, the dining reservations that you’ve made shouldn’t get cancelled because you changed your hotel reservation dates. You should be able to keep all of the reservations that you’ve made, including those that now fall within your shortened stay. Don’t forget to cancel the reservations that you won’t be using anymore before your cancellation window expires; they don’t get cancelled automatically when you modify your vacation plans.

As always, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
