Hi there, Rhianna! Welcome to planDisney!
Don't you just love being a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder? There is nothing better than being able to return to the Most Magical Place on Earth time and time again. I'm more than happy to answer your question today to help you maximize your pixie-dusted Pass.
Your Annual Pass is valid for one year from its original activation date, which was probably the first time you used it for admission. That means that once your Pass is activated, that expiration date is set. While your Annual Pass expiration date cannot be changed, you do have some wiggle room when it comes time to renew. You can renew your Annual Pass up to 60 days before and 30 days after the expiration date. Just keep in mind that no matter when you renew your Pass, that expiration date remains the same.
If you absolutely need to change your Annual Pass expiration date, you will have to let your current Pass expire, purchase a new Annual Pass, and then activate it on the date you would like. However, I don't recommend doing that if you don't have to, since you would forfeit your renewal discount.
Speaking of discounts, throughout the year, be sure to keep an eye on the
Passholder Offers, Perks & More page on the Walt Disney World website for the latest and greatest in pixie-dusted Passholder perks, discounts and offers. And don't forget to always check and take advantage of those
Florida Resident benefits. The magic is calling, Rhianna!
While this probably was not the answer you were hoping for, Rhianna, I hope it was at least helpful. I'm wishing you a year full of magical memories! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
