Hi Janet, welcome to planDisney!
"September" is not only one of the epic song options played while experiencing the all-new
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT; it's also the month you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort! The beat goes on at an
Eat to the Beat concert at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion.
When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it's important for everyone to connect as
Family and Friends in My Disney Experience. This allows you to seamlessly view and make plans for everyone, and they can make plans for you. To add a new Guest to your Family and Friends list in the
My Disney Experience mobile app, complete the following steps:
1. Click the three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen.
2. Scroll down and click "My Profile."
3. Click the "Family and Friends List" tab.
4. Click "Add a Guest."
5. Select "I'll enter their name and age."
6a. For Guests under the age of 13, enter their first name/last name/age/birthday and click "Add Guest." Their My Disney Experience account profile must be managed under your account because they are too young to have their own account. You are officially connected as Family and Friends.
6b. For Guests over the age of 13, "How will you plan your visit?" appears after you enter their age. If your Guest has or wants to have their own My Disney Experience account, select "Share Planning with this Guest" and enter their email address. This sends that individual an email invitation to connect. You will be connected as Family and Friends as soon as the invitation has been accepted. If you will be managing all plans for this Guest, select "I'll manage all plans for this Guest" and "Add Guest."
Once your Guest appears on your
Family and Friends list, their name will appear for selection while linking tickets, making theme park reservations, making dining reservations, purchasing Disney Genie+ service, booking Lightning Lane attractions, etc.
My Family and Friends list doubles as a list of my life's VIPs. As the number of people I encourage to come with me to Disney grows, so does my list. By default, the list gets separated into two categories: "We're Planning Together" and "My Other Family and Friends." This separation makes it easy to keep a large Family and Friends list without having to change people in and out for each trip. If you need to change the information of a person on your list whose profile you manage, simply click on their name as it appears on your Family and Friends list in the app and "Update Info."
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney, Janet. We're hEAR to help!
