What are the chances of rain on first week of November if will the park and rides will be open to ride during rain ?

    Hi, Elizabeth!

Southern California is usually quite pleasant in early November. You should have sunny skies and mid-70's. That sounds just about perfect to me! However, check ahead on your favorite weather website for the forecast. Plan accordingly with sunglasses, sunscreen, and hats or if it is going to rain, you may want to pack rain ponchos or umbrellas. It will cool off in the evenings, so plan to bring a light jacket or hoodie.

You may find some attractions are not available in the rain, but many are indoor so not usually closed due to weather. If there are any closures due to inclement weather, the Cast Members will work hard to get things up and running as quickly as possible. If you run into a sprinkle, use this time for lunch or a snack, or my favorite thing to do when it rains: SHOP! Ok, I like to shop when it is sunny, too. Any excuse to browse the fun shops all around the Disneyland Resort!

To keep up on any ride closures as well as wait times and more, download the Disneyland app on your smart phone. This handy tool will keep you updated on everything going on around the parks.

Wishing you sunny skies by day and starry skies by night! Enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
