What are the chances of planning a surprise family trip for the week after Christmas and being able to get in all the parks and reserve rooms to stay in?

Hello Teri! The surprise of Disney is one of the best surprises of all! Your family is going to love what you are planning for them!

The week following Christmas and the beginning of the new year is traditionally one of the best times to visit! The Christmas crowds decline due to people needing to return to work and school. I just checked the Disney Park Pass calendar for January 2022 and it is “all green” which means that all four Disney Parks are currently available!

As far as Disney Resort Hotel availability, you can check the “Places to Stay” tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website! This will show you which hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection have availability during your planned travel time! If your first selection isn't available, check some of the other options! There are so many amazing resort hotels!

Teri, I hope you come back to see us at planDisney as you continue dreaming of your surprise trip for your family!
