Hi Christina, welcome to planDisney!
You are two weeks away from walking down Main Street, U.S.A., and laying eyes on
Cinderella Castle's EARidescent makeover. Two weeks away from refreshing DOLE Whips and Mickey-shaped snacks. Two weeks away from your story coming alive during
The World's Most Magical Celebration. I'm two weeks away from my semi-annual dentist appointment. Wanna trade?!
Valid admission,
theme park reservations, and a method of entry are currently required for park entry. The three methods of entry are
MagicBand, admission card, and
Disney MagicMobile pass. The battery life of a MagicBand is reportedly two years, though I'm still using one that's over three years old. While there's no way to tell by looking at your MagicBand whether or not the battery is still working, I encourage you to pack it in your suitcase. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, a Cast Member at the front desk will be able to confirm whether or not there's some magic left in your MagicBand. The same goes for a Cast Member at a
Guest Relations window located outside of the park entrances. If the MagicBand battery is no longer working, a Cast Member at Guest Relations will also be able to give you an admission card as an alternative method of entry. As an added bonus, the 50th Anniversary designs make admission cards great souvenEARs.
If you're interested in purchasing a new MagicBand, you can do so at various retail locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I find that
Disney Pin Traders at Disney Springs has a wide selection of MagicBands. A new MagicBand must be
linked to your My Disney Experience account before park entry.
Safe travels to Florida, Christina, and we hope to see you at planDisney again real soon.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
