Hi there, Jennifer!
I’m so glad you stopped by
planDisney to bring us a question about the
Disneyland Resort. Your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth is just around the pixie-dusted corner, and it sounds like you’re getting excited about all the magic that awaits you!
As you already heard,
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is temporarily closed due to its location in
Critter Country, which is under construction. An official reopening date hasn’t been announced, but when I took a peek at the calendar, I noticed that
Pooh Corner (the shop adjacent to the attraction) appears to show available times starting June 9. Keep in mind that dates can be subject to change, but this might be a good sign that you’ll be able to catch a glimpse of Winnie the Pooh during your visit!
Haunted Mansion is also closed for a major exterior refurbishment to create a
new queue experience and retail shop, and a reopening date has not yet been shared. Due to the nature of the construction being done and the current status of the project, it’s less likely that this attraction will reopen by the end of June. However, please keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any official news. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to catch a ride in a Doom Buggy to spend some time socializing with the grim-grinning ghosts who reside in the mansion!
I hope this helps, Jennifer, and that your vacation is a dream come true. Please don’t hesitate to
drop by again and ask more questions as your trip draws near.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
