Welcome, Jessika!
You've come to the right place with your question, as I am a fellow
Tiki Room enthusiast! While I was excited to see that our beloved Tiki Room would be getting a refresh, I am headed to the parks this week and understand that a park day with a tropical serenade is extra magical, and it will be (temporarily!) missed!
Currently, a reopening date has not yet been announced. A good place to look for refurbishment closure information is in the
Disneyland Mobile App itself. If you head to the three-line icon in the bottom right-hand corner, scroll to "
Park Hours & Info". If you select a date on the calendar and scroll to the bottom, you will see a convenient list of attractions and shows that will be closed for refurbishment on that day. This allows you to look a bit into the future as well. I checked for June 3rd, and, unfortunately, the Tiki Room is still listed as down for your park visit. I'm sorry - I know that wasn't the news you were hoping to hear! The good news is that the
Tiki Juice Bar is still open, serving classic DOLE WHIP® floats and soft serve. While you may not get to sing like the birdies sing, you can still get a taste!
While I was looking at the Park Hours, I could also take a peek at the Entertainment schedule for your park visit. You are coming during the summer and the
70th Anniversary festivities are in full swing, which means that most shows and fireworks are lighting up the night every evening! I would definitely carve out some time to catch the
Paint the Night Parade stroll down Main Street and stay for
Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks above Sleeping Beauty Castle! These two very special nighttime spectaculars are making encore performances for a limited time during the 70th Anniversary festivities.
Jessika, I know you are in for a visit filled with unforgettable memories. There is so much to see and do with the 70th Anniversary that I guarantee it will be a magical time. If you have any more questions ahead of your trip, please feel free to stop by again here at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
