Any chance It’s a small world will reopen earlier than April 25? We are there April 18 and 19 and it’s my granddaughter’s favorite ride. I’m so sad as we didn’t know it would be closed when we chose our dates.

Hi, Judy! Welcome back to planDisney! We always love when you stop by with your great questions.

I know it can be disappointing when a beloved attraction will be closed during a visit to Disneyland, and according to the Hours & Events Calendar, the reopening date for "it's a small world" is still scheduled to be April 25, as you mentioned, Judy. However, closure dates for attractions can change at any time so I encourage you to check back for any updates, especially on the "it's a small world" attraction page on the Disneyland website. You never know, a dream that you wish may indeed come true!

You know what's wonderful about the Happiest Place on Earth, Judy? (Besides everything!) There is always something new (or nostalgic) to experience! For instance, have you or your granddaughter ever been in the Enchanted Tiki Room? With darling animatronics (the first to introduce this innovative technology!) and catchy tunes, the Enchanted Tiki Room reminds me a lot of "it's a small world." And, like "it's a small world," the Enchanted Tiki Room is a lovely place to take a break in the afternoon, with its glorious air conditioning. Most of all, I enjoy experiencing anything that came from the imagination of Walt Disney himself, as the Enchanted Tiki Room did. So, grab a Dole Whip from the Tropical Hideaway (my pick is the Chile-Mango Whip Swirl, if it's on the menu) and get ready to be immersed in quintessential Disneyland magic.

I hope this has been helpful to you in your planning, Judy, and that you have an incredible visit. If you have any additional questions, you've got a friend in me! I'm always happy to chat about Disneyland.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
