What is the chance that we will get the room that we requested in May? I know the room is not guaranteed.

    Hi Marissa,

Thanks for visiting the Disney sparks Moms Panel with your question.  Your trip to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner, I'm sure you will have a magical time!  In my experience, I have been lucky in terms of room requests and have found that as long as requests are reasonable, chances are pretty good that guests will in fact get what they request.  I find that the Cast Members really do want to make every guest happy and will try to accommodate requests if at all possible.  The only time I did not receive a request was during Christmas holidays, and my request was not put in beforehand, I simply asked upon my arrival (what was I thinking)!  The Cast Member did attempt to fulfil my request, and told me that although it was not possible, they were willing to let me know if something came up later during my vacation.

The bottom line is that Walt Disney World Resort wants all guests to come away from their vacation happy, and will do everything they can accommodate requests, although as you have mentioned, they are not guaranteed.  Sending you extra Pixie Dust hoping that your room request will be granted!

I hope that helps Marissa.  Have a great time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Vacation.
