Hi Mark,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I remember being a kid and getting
such a kick out of a cartoon my aunt had on her fridge. The picture showed Mr. Potato Head, with only his eyes on, looking at a wall of possible nose options. The caption read: "Mr. Potato Head picks his nose." Ohhhh boy, did I find that hilarious!
You have found a whole toy box full of fellow toys who LOVE Mr. Potato Head and who also miss the super fun fill-a-box experience! He's a Panel favorite, and we are all sending out pixie-dusted wishes that the experience comes back in some form in the future.
While the Mr. Potato Head fill-a-box experience is not currently available, I'm hoping that, when Toy Story 4 opens this summer, we might get some fun new experiences with our favorite toys. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news.
Mark, some of my kids' favorite "make and take" experiences include building their own lightsabers at
Tatooine Traders, and customizing charm bracelets at
World of Disney in Disney Springs. When you visit
Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios, pay careful attention to all the wonderful details – look up, down, and all around. One of my very favorite nods to retro toys comes in the form of a Little People Camper that Andy has decked out as a souvenir kiosk. It's a love letter to our favorite childhood toys, and I know you're going to love sharing that experience with your sweet
grandbaby!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
