Hello, by any chance do you happen to know how wide your turnstiles are for the older rides? I am 330 pounds and want to know if I will have trouble getting though. Thank you so much! We are so excited to be visiting!

    Greetings Queen Sara!

How exciting that you and your crew are planning to visit The Happiest Place On Earth this month! It's awesome that you reached out to us at planDisney with your question. I totally get it - you want to make sure you can enjoy the Resort to the fullest during your trip. As someone who loves visiting amusement parks, I've had family members who have also faced body size restrictions that have made it challenging for us to enjoy the experience. But the great thing about Disneyland is that it's designed to accommodate guests of all shapes and sizes - everyone is welcome to experience the magic!

The Disneyland Resort offers alternative entrances and accommodations at all attractions to make sure you can still enjoy the attractions. And there are plenty of experiences at the park that don't require you to pass through a turnstile, like parades, shows, and dining options.

I recently stopped by Guest Relations to find out which rides have any size restrictions at all, but I'm happy to say that nearly all rides are accessible to everyone.

But Sara, if you’re still concerned about accessibility, have you heard about the Disability Access Service (DAS)? It's designed for people who have difficulty waiting in a regular queue, and no medical documentation is required. Since your visit is coming up soon, now would be a great time to request a live video chat to pre-register for the DAS. The process involves a quick 10-minute video chat with a Cast Member who will walk you through everything and make sure you have a magical time.

I hope this puts your mind at ease, Sara. I'm confident that you and your cast of characters will be able to enjoy all the rides and attractions just as much as any guest. If you have any more questions, feel free to message me again - I'm always here to help.
