Is there a certain scooter rental company you allow to drop scooters and pick up without me being there? We are stay at one of your resorts.

    Welcome BACK, Cathy!!

We love so much that you've come to visit again us hEAR at planDisney. Thank you for sending another fantastic Disney Parks vacation planning question our way! And this time it looks like you're headed to Mickey's original house, Disneyland Resort - how exciting!

Yes! Disneyland Resort has a featured provider for wheelchair and electric conveyance vehicles (ECVs) - it's ScooterBug of Anaheim. There are power chairs for rent directly from Disney, and the hotels do have a few manual pushchairs to use. But the power chair rentals cannot leave the parks to go to the hotels and the hotel chairs can't be rolled into the parks. Not only will your rental from ScooterBug solve that little problem, but even better, they'll deliver your ride to AND pick it up from your Disneyland Resort Hotel before you get there and long after your last 'see ya real soon!' You can literally get in and go or stay and play until the last possible minute if you'd like!

I've used ScooterBug myself, only with a stroller rental, and loved their service. To set up your rental you'll do everything through ScooterBug's website, ScooterBug.com/Anaheim, including noting your Disneyland Resort Hotel. Upon your arrival Home, you should be able to pick your scooter up directly from the bell services team, or it can be brought to you at the check-in desk. Then when you're all done, you'll drop it off at the Bell Services desk and they'll take care of the rest. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Cathy! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks. We even just launched the brand new planDisney Podcast! And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
