Are their certain guidelines for carrying bags in the Disney Parks? Bookbag size? Clear bag required?

Hi Jennifer and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love answering questions from fellow North Carolinians! I have tried to visit the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort without a bag but it simply doesn't work for me. I always have a few small things to carry. I checked the Park Rules to make sure I had the most current information.

You do not have to have a clear bag. You do need to know all bags will be searched when you enter a park. The security line can get a little backed up so I always recommend having your bag open and all zippers unzipped when you reach the security guard. It will make your search go much quicker. I put my smaller items in clear bags to keep them organized in my backpack. Prohibited items include "suitcases, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61cm x 38cm x 46 cm)."

Jennifer, I hope this information will help you choose the perfect park bag. Thank you for visiting with your question and be sure to let us know if we can help you further!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
