Hello, Mariah!
Welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled to hEAR that you are planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort this fall. The World’s Most Magical Celebration will still be going strong for you and your family to join in all the fun. You will still be able to enjoy
Disney’s Enchantment, a nighttime spectacular created just for the
50th Anniversary Celebration. This is the perfect way to end your day in the Magic Kingdom.
In my opinion, it is never too early to finalize the details of an upcoming Disney vacation. However, since the phased reopening of Walt Disney World, theme parks are operating at limited capacity and some experiences may be different or have not returned yet. One change that you may not be aware of is that all Guests are required to have a
valid theme park ticket and a
Park Pass Reservation for each day they plan to visit a theme park. Guests with the
Park Hopper Option added to their tickets will only need to reserve the first park they plan to visit each day.
I recommend that you purchase your tickets as soon as possible and make your Park Pass Reservations immediately after you have linked your tickets in
My Disney Experience. If you check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, you will probably see that all parks are available for the dates that you are planning to visit. The closer you get to your arrival date, you will begin to see some parks are completely reserved or maybe even all parks are booked for a particular date. Since you cannot make a reservation until you have purchased and linked your tickets, I suggest that you do so as soon as possible, this will allow you to get your first choice of the parks you want to visit. You can always change your reservation later once you have made your
Advanced Dining Reservations, 60 days before your arrival, provided there is remaining availability. Remember that each person in your party, ages 3 and older, will need a park pass reservation.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and ask us.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
