    I have celiac sprue and need to eat a gluten-free diet. What kind of options are available on the menus? Is there much variety? (Disney Dream Bahama cruise)

    Hi there, Janissa!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Halloween on the High Seas vacation will be here before you know it!  I love sailing these sailings because they have some extra spooky fun added into an already magical itinerary!  Be sure to pack your costumes for some Halloween fun!

    Disney Cruise Line chefs are fantastic when it comes to alternative food options for Guests with dietary restrictions.  The chefs, as well as your servers and head server will work with you to ensure that you have a variety of meal options during your sailing.  On the main dining room menus you will find options noted as allergen friendly by denoting either Gluten Free or Dairy Free.  You can also request meals in advance from your servers for the following night if there is something particular you want from a different night’s menu.  The servers can provide gluten-free bread at your table for dinner service as well each night. 

    I suggest contacting Disney Cruise Line to note your account with your dietary needs prior to your sailing.  This will alert your servers that you have a need that needs to be addressed and they will work directly with you to ensure your sailing is as delicious as the Guest next to you. They can help you navigate the menu and the dining options on board for breakfast and lunch options and can prearrange certain items for you to enjoy.  

    You can download the Navigator app now (and set your countdown clock) and then use it onboard to view nightly menus ahead of time to see the options available to you!
