I have celiac disease and am excited to visit Disneyland in 2 weeks. I noticed California Adventure now has a stand called Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums. They have a gluten free Incredicookie that I would like but need to know if it is dairy free? Thanks!

Greetings, Diana, and thanks for bringing your scrumptious question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have to admit, Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums is one of my favorite guilty pleasures at snack time on Pixar Pier! The Jack-Jack Cookie Num Num has to be my top pick, thanks to my chocolate cravings! In addition to the warm chocolate chip cookie option, this delicious treat cart also offers the Jack-Jack Shortbread Cookie, and The IncrediCookie, which is the gluten-friendly blackberry jam-filled cookie on the menu. I was able to have a look at the ingredient list for The IncrediCookie, and here are the ingredients listed: butter, granulated sugar, liquid eggs, vanilla extract, and gluten-free flour. I did notice that the gluten-free flour contains milk powder. I hope this will still work for you! This cookie cart also serves Almond Milk if you do prefer the dairy-free option to wash down a treat.

I do have a favorite dairy-free option on Pixar Pier, and it can be found at Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats. The Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait features nondairy lemon soft-serve with a blue raspberry swirl, and it’s super refreshing on a warm, summer day!

If you have any other specific dietary questions, you can email Special.Diets@disneyland.com. Inside the parks, just ask any Cast Member at food carts or restaurants for allergy information and alternatives. At any table-service or quick-service restaurant, you can always ask to speak with a chef or Cast Member with specific menu questions as well. They’re often willing to make changes to meet your dietary needs if at all possible.

Wishing you a magical, yummy visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
