I have celebrations on some ADR and may be ordering cakes. Now, when I check in at podium, do they know about my cake/celebration and when to bring it out? Do I have to remind them? One will be a surprise so I don't want that person to overhear me

Hi Dawn! You will have the choice of requesting a small cake at your restaurant the evening of your dinner or you can pre order one from that will be a bit fancier and more personal. You can call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253 and discuss your choices and needs. You will let them know the time and place of your dining reservation where you will want the cake delivered. When you check in you will need to discuss the fact that you have pre-ordered a cake and you would like to have it at a certain time etc. brought to the table.  If you are going with a standard small cake that all restaurants have on hand then you will still need to alert them of your wishes and plans. I suggest you check-in without the rest of your party standing with you and discuss all of this at that time. If that is not possible you can always excuse yourself from the table to wash your hands and sneak away to make your plans! I have done that myself! I am sure you will be able to bring about the surprise and make it a magical moment!
