Hiya, Robin, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.
Walt Disney World is a seriously magical place, but I never turn down a chance to add some extra pixie dust to my trip! I love that you'll be attending
Celebration at the Top - Sip, Savor, Sparkle at
Disney's Contemporary Resort next week. Catching
Happily Ever After from a different vantage point is always a special treat - especially when you combine it with
actual treats, sweets, and desserts!
Robin, I'm happy to share that you should have no problem catching a ride back to
Disney's Riviera Resort after you've satisfied your sweet tooth. Celebration at the Top begins at 9 PM and runs for about 2 hours, which means you'll be heading out around 11 PM. Since Disney World's
Minnie Vans generally run until midnight, you'll be able to use your Lyft app to secure your magical, polka-dotted carriage!
Now, I just took a look at the
park hours for next week, and Magic Kingdom is open until 11 PM several evenings. This means that if your special
Enchanting Extra falls on one of those nights, you'd also have the option to walk from the Contemporary to Magic Kingdom and pick up your resort bus from there. Since Disney transportation runs for an hour after park close, this makes for a convenient and complimentary alternative.
Finally, one last tip before I go! As a self-proclaimed sugar addict, there are LOTS of sweet treats in Disney World that I would call my "favorites." But Disney's Riviera Resort is home to the one I've been craving most recently: the chocolatey banana bread from
Le Petit Café! Be sure to pick up one (or a few!) on your visit.
I hope this helps, Robin, and that your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is full of memories and pixie dust! If you have any other questions as you finalize your plans, you know
where to find me right here at planDisney.
Magic awaits,
Allison
