Greetings, Adriana, and welcome to planDisney! It's great that you are planning ahead for your summer visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Let's talk about what's scheduled so you can finalize your travel dates.
First, aren't you so excited about the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration? There will be special entertainment, colorful decorations, new food and drinks, collectible merchandise, and more. Everything will be so vibrant and festive. I'm most excited about the return of the
Paint the Night parade and the
all-new World of Color show!
Adriana, you mentioned that you’ll be in town for the first night of the
Oogie Boogie Bash on August 17, 2025. Get ready for spooky after-hours fun with Halloween-themed entertainment, treat trails, and unique character encounters! Just remember that a separate ticket is required. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog and the
Disneyland account on Instagram so you don't miss announcements about when tickets will go on sale.
Halloween Time is scheduled to kick off at the Disneyland Resort a few days later on August 22, 2025. With that comes special decorations, seasonal versions of select attractions, "spooky" costumes for Mickey and his pals, and more. Since you're visiting a few days before Halloween Time begins, you should be able to enjoy the 70th Anniversary entertainment. We do know, thanks to the
Disney Parks Blog, that the Wondrous Journeys nighttime spectacular and the Better Together parade (both returning as part of the 70th Anniversary) will temporarily pause to make way for seasonal entertainment like the
Halloween Screams show.
As your trip approaches, Adriana, check the
Hours & Events Calendar. The daily entertainment schedules usually appear six weeks in advance, detailing which parades and shows you might see while at the Disneyland Resort.
Adriana, you're getting closer to making magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We're happy to help here at planDisney!
Adventure awaits!
