Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, in just a week's time, it's off to Walt Disney World Resort you go! Pretty soon you'll be standing right in the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. gazing upon the splendor of Cinderella Castle. With the 50th Anniversary Celebration and the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts to look forward to, I'd imagine these last few days leading up to your vacation are an agonizing wait. I bet if you just whistle while you work, the hours will fly by!
My family and I have been on Walt Disney World Resort vacations to celebrate everything from wedding anniversaries, surprise proposals, graduations, retirements, birthdays, and more. I'm a firm believer that The Most Magical Place on Earth is the perfect place for celebrations of all kinds, no matter how big or small, so I'm excited to hEAR you've chosen to come "home" again for your special celebration.
I checked with Guest Services and, unfortunately, Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes cannot be delivered to Disney Resorts Collection hotels at this time. I know this is not the answer you were hoping for, Michael, so let's see if we can find some other magical options that might work.
No celebration is complete without first getting an "I'm Celebrating" button to proudly wear for the length of your trip. These buttons are complimentary and can be found at your Resort's Front Desk, as well as Guest Relations and merchandise locations at the theme parks. Don't be surprised if you hear an extra "Congratulations!" or two from Cast Members and other Guests during your trip.
Did you know Walt Disney World Resort has a special group of Cast Members, referred to as Dream Makers, who are
dedicated to helping Guests celebrate their special occasions in magical, memorable ways? It's true! They can create gift baskets, balloon bouquets, floral arrangements, cupcake celebrations, and more that can be delivered to your Resort hotel room! All you have to do is dream big, and they will do the rest. You can peruse some of the available options and pricing at
Disney Floral & Gifts online. To place an order, you can reach out to a Dream Maker by calling 407-939-4438, or you can order from their website online.
While the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes cannot be delivered to your Resort hotel room,
they CAN be ordered at select table-service restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort. The cakes come in milk, white, or dark chocolate and serve four to six guests. You can order a plain cake or have it decorated with a celebratory phrase. There's no better way to end a delicious meal than with a surprise celebration cake! You can order Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes ahead of time at select dining locations (I suggest calling Disney Dining at 407-939-3463 to inquire further on this option), or you can put in a request at the restaurant's host podium in person upon arrival for your dining reservation. However, keep in mind the availability of same-day cakes is limited.
If you decide to proceed with placing an order at Disney Floral & Gifts or pre-ordering a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible since the date of your arrival is so close. Whatever you decide, I just know you will have the most magical trip celebrating your special occasion and making core memories to last a lifetime. You'll be off to Neverland in no time, Michael!
