Will all of the 70th Celebration activities be happening in between Halloween and Christmas? I am looking specifically at November 9-11. I want to verify that Paint The Night and 70th fireworks and all of the other special 70th celebrations going

Greetings, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Let's talk about what you might expect with an early November visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Jennifer, Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially begin on November 14, 2025, so your visit will fall during the short transitional period between Halloween Time and the Holiday season. I visited the first week of November last year, and there was still a fireworks show on select nights, although details are not yet available for November 2025.

I totally understand your excitement about the 70th Anniversary Celebration entertainment. Paint the Night with its dazzling lights and high-energy soundtrack, and Wondrous Journeys with its heartfelt tribute to Disney animation, are my two favorite nighttime spectaculars.

We know some of the 70th Anniversary Celebration entertainment will temporarily pause to make way for seasonal offerings, but no announcements have been made yet as to what that means for each specific show. There's a chance one or both may be available during your visit, but there's also a chance that they will not make a return until after the new year.

To get the most accurate picture of what will be available during your visit, I recommend keeping an eye on the Hours & Events Calendar. It is updated on a rolling basis, usually up to six weeks in advance, so check in late September for the clearest details on parades, nighttime shows, and atmosphere entertainment for early November.

You can also stay in the loop by following Disneyland on Instagram and checking the Disney Parks Blog for official announcements and entertainment updates.

Since nighttime spectaculars seem to be high on your list, Jennifer, consider looking into dining packages that include reserved viewing for select shows. These often become available 60 days in advance and are a great way to enjoy a delicious meal and also secure a great spot for a show.

Jennifer, I hope your family has a magical time at the Disneyland Resort this November! Even though you’ll be visiting just before the Holidays begin, you’re likely to see some very merry decorations starting to appear throughout the parks. If you have any more questions as you continue planning, we’re always happy to help here at planDisney.
