We will be celebrating the 1 year anniversary of the adoption of our daughters (ages 5 and 7.) We were hoping for an extra special celebration. We saw other celebrations, but an adoption wasn't listed. Any ideas of what we could do?

    Hi Penny!

What a wonderful blessing to celebrate the anniversary of your daughters' adoption. Don't worry that there are no suggestions for adoption celebrations, this is your chance to make a one-of-a-kind celebration for your family. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, an In-Room Celebration is a great way to surprise your daughters with a special treat. Consider starting your trip with A Royal Welcome so they are all set with tiaras and autograph books for when they meet their favorite Disney Characters.

A Disney Fine Art Portrait is a fantastic way to get a document this family milestone with photographs by Disney's professional photographers in one of your favorite locations at Walt Disney World Resort. These portraits are truly pieces of art that will capture the joy of your celebration and be a beautiful permanent addition to your home.

Every celebration needs a cake! There are two options for getting cakes following your table service meals. Celebrate Today! cakes are 6-inch chocolate or vanilla cakes that are available from most table service restaurants with no advanced notice. Just notify your server of your celebration and that you would like a cake to celebrate. If you are interested in a custom cake, you can order one to be delivered for your dining reservation by calling (407) 827-2253. Be sure to give the bakery at least 72 hours advanced notice.

Finally, be sure to pick up a celebration button from Guest Relations on your way into the park so Cast Members and other Guests can help your family celebrate your "Gotcha Day"!

Come back and see me if you have any more questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
