Welcome to planDisney, Tom! How wonderful that you'll soon be setting sail on a celebratory cruise. You have so much to celebrate!
I'd love to share some ideas on ways that you can make the experience even more special. To begin, I recommend that you sign into your account on
Disney Cruise Line's website (or via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app) and indicate that you will be celebrating an anniversary. Once logged in, select your reservation and scroll down and click on the section labeled Special Requests. From the Special Requests menu, find the Celebrations option. From there you should be able to share that you'll be celebrating an anniversary during your sailing.
I know you'll be embarking on your adventure soon, but if you are still three days away from your sail date, you can browse through a selection of
Onboard Gifts and order a surprise for your stateroom. I highly recommend the Luxury at Sea for Two Romance package, complete with chocolates, some bubbly (there is a non-alcoholic version if preferred), and plush Disney Cruise Line branded robes.
Once onboard, a special meal at
Palo would be a lovely way to celebrate your anniversary and all that your wife has accomplished throughout her career. Look for an opportunity to make last-minute adult-exclusive dining reservations the first day onboard. You'll see in the Daily Activity Schedule a time and location to meet for Dining Requests on the first afternoon of your sailing. You can also speak with the Crew Members at Guest Services to inquire about your options.
Lastly, consider booking a relaxing treatment at the
Senses Spa. The Spa will be offering tours in the afternoon of your first day onboard. You can stop by, view the space, and make a reservation for individual treatments, or something for you to enjoy as a couple.
I hope these ideas have sparked your imagination. The best gift of all is the gift of time, and I know you'll have a lovely time sailing together on your Disney Cruise.
Happy Anniversary! Bon Voyage!
