We are celebrating my wife's 50th Birthday at Disney December 1-4. I want to do one day at Magic Kingdom and stay for Mickeys Christmas, one at Hollywood Studio and one at Universal. Do you have any tips or ideas to make this a special event for her?

    Hi Debbie ~

Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate a 50th Birthday! Be sure to pick up a "Happy Birthday" button for her at any theme park Guest Relations location. You never know what pixie dust will come her way.

There are so many incredible ways to celebrate a 50th birthday at Disney:
    * Plan a special birthday meal in one of the parks you'll be visiting. I'd suggest Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom (MK) or The Hollywood Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios.
    * The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is a great way to see Wishes in the MK.
    * Have dinner at California Grill at the Contemporary Resort. Make your reservations to coincide with Wishes at the MK.
    * Dine at Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort. Its beautiful dining along the waterfront. Make your reservations near Wishes and stroll onto the deck to watch.
    * Book a speciality cruise to watch Wishes.
    * Contact Disney Floral & Gifts. Their Dream Makers can help you plan anything including an in-room birthday celebration for her.

You can make dining reservations beginning 180 days prior to your trip which I'd highly recommend you do. Reservations can be made through the links shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
