We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at WDW in May. What kind of things should we expect from Disney. For our honeymoon, we received a signed Mickey and Minnie photo delivered to our room. Plus what celebratory things could we do

    Hi Jeremy,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding anniversary! Walt Disney World is a wonderful place to celebrate.

I suggest that you and your spouse both pick up celebration recognition buttons while at Walt Disney World. These are available free of charge at Guest Relations at any Disney theme park, as well as other locations throughout Walt Disney World. Your resort hotel may also have some on hand. You could get the ones that say "Happy Anniversary" or "Happily Ever After." I also suggest that you make sure that you have your anniversary celebration noted on both your resort hotel reservation as well as any other dining reservations that you make. Although wearing the buttons and having the celebration noted does not guarantee anything extra, you never know when a little extra pixie dust might be sprinkled on your day! Wearing the button and noting the celebration on your reservations will also mean that cast members and other guests alike will wish you a happy anniversary throughout your vacation, which is a lovely feeling.

As for a celebratory activity, I suggest a specialty cruise. You can book one just for you and your spouse. These can be very romantic and some even include fireworks viewings, weather depending. Another idea is to work with Disney Floral and Gifts to customize a gift or in-room celebration for your anniversary. I suggest that you peruse their website and then give them a call at (407) WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438) to work with a Magic Maker to customize your surprise. Finally, consider going back to one of your favorite memories from your honeymoon. If there was a restaurant that you loved, or an attraction that you have fond memories from, head back there and reminisce.

Please do let us know if you have any further question, Jeremy!
