Hello, Joseph!
Welcome to planDisney, I'm so glad you cruised by with your question!
I celebrated both my honeymoon and an anniversary with Disney Cruise Line, you will love it! The first thing you should do is note your anniversary in your cruise reservation. Go to
"My Reservations" on the Disney Cruise Line website and then choose "Special Requests" and "Celebrations" to add the details to your reservation. When you meet your dining team at dinner on the first evening I would suggest letting them know you're celebrating, too!
My favorite way to celebrate a special occasion at sea is with a special adults-only dining reservation, and brunch at
Palo is our #1 pick! Dinner is also fabulous, but I love enjoying the view during the day. Reservations are required and they go fast, but if you don't get one in advance you can try talking to the dining team as soon as you board the ship to see if there is additional availability.
You might also want to order an
Onboard Gift to start your cruise on a celebratory note. The robes in the "Luxury at Sea for Two" package are worth saving some packing space to bring home! Other fun anniversary activities are couples massages at the
spa, and
shopping for a special gift on the ship.
When it comes to choosing a time for the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, I always feel like sooner is better so that kids can enjoy their makeovers as long as possible! This is a popular activity, so you might want to be as flexible on the times as you can be. Just make sure that the time you choose doesn't get too close to any other Port Adventures you're planning because you'll need time to wash and dry your daughter's hair before your appointment. If you have a day at sea on your itinerary then that's a great time for a visit to the boutique!
Congratulations on your anniversary, Joseph! I'm wishing your whole family many more years of happily ever afters to come.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
