Celebrating 1st wedding anniversary after first dating 35 years ago! Staying at Coronado Springs standard room. Don't swim. Which building should I request? Would love to see the lake but don't know if that's possible with standard. Excited. Love the Moms

    Greetings Jessica!

Congratulations! What a Happily Ever After Story you two have-- it sounds quite magical! Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is one of my very favorites thanks to a beautiful stay there last May. The property is just gorgeous and we loved the rooms and extra amenities.

Thanks to a tip that I actually learned here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we requested a room in Casitas building 4. It was a lovely location, close to the restaurants, but very quiet and secluded. We especially loved that it was closest to the first bus stop for drop-off and pick-up for the resort.  Although we did not have a view of Lago Dorado from our room, you could definitely add that wish to your request when you call the resort. Also, make sure to tell them you are celebrating your anniversary.  As always, Disney will do the best they can to accommodate your requests, but they are not guaranteed.

Have a Fairy Tale time, Jessica, and please let me know if there is anything else I may assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
