Welcome back to planDisney, Nancy!
How exciting that in a few days, you’ll be celebrating not one, not two...but THREE birthdays at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Triple the fun for your fabulous girls!
Already you are winning the birthday game this year spending it at Walt Disney World. But just to put things over the top, let’s brainstorm how to make their birthday extra memorable! I’m not sure the age of your triplets, but these are tried and true ideas that will hopefully work for any age.
My daughter always loved to get her shopping on, and who doesn’t love a Disney gift card? Buy some
Disney gift cards for each of them and take them on a shopping spree. Kids love this because they get to be in charge of how the money is spent. And when it’s gone, it’s gone!
The easiest way to point out the girls’ birthday is to pick up Birthday Buttons from either your
Disney Resort Hotel, at Guest Relations at all the Theme Parks and Disney Springs, or at all ticketing windows. Cast Members and fellow Guests will extend birthday wishes to them throughout the day!
If your kids are all about the characters, consider making a reservation for
Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends at Topolino's Terrace in Disney’s Riviera Resort. There are currently limited character meals, but this charmer is a wonderful experience! Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy walk through the restaurant, but they won’t be stopping by tables at this time. It’s the perfect opportunity to take selfies with the characters in the background. Make sure your servers know that it’s the girls’ birthday. Mickey and crew will love hearing about that!
Pre-order a
Mickey Mouse Celebration specialty cake. Cakes can be arranged for Guests with reservations at participating table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. The hard part may be in deciding what type to order: I always had one that loved chocolate and one that loved vanilla. (But I could always count on them both wanting sprinkles!)
All of us at planDisney love birthday surprises, so feel free to send more questions our way. Tell Mickey I said “hi” and tell the girls “Happy Birthday!”
Best wishes,
Sherry
