We will be celebrating my sons second birthday in July when we visit WDW. I was just wondering which is the best restaurant to take him to in order to celebrate? Which is the most age appropriate?

Hi Bethanne!  I'm sure you'll have a great time celebrating your son's second birthday.

I have a few character meal recommendations for his celebration -- my young children have enjoyed these locations.  We think all of these are great, so choose based upon which characters you think he'll like the best!

    • Play and Dine at the Hollywood and Vine (Disney's Hollywood Studios) - if your son watches Playhouse Disney shows, this might be a big hit!  It features characters from the Little Einsteins and JoJo's Circus.
    • Chef Mickey's (Contemporary) - This popular dining location features Mickey and friends
    • Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom) - Featuring Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore, this is probably what I would choose.  The location is beautiful, and the buffet is very good for adults and children (my kids love the desserts!).
Have fun planning, and have a great vacation!
