We are celebrating my son's 1st first bday in April & planning to do cake and sing at Crystal Palace (the only joint, park meal for our group). Better to get a mouse cake for everyone or get a 6in since dessert is included? Suggestions for a "smas

Hi Erica! Since this is the very special first birthday for your son you will definitely want lots of pictures of this occasion. A one year old doesn't quite understand what it is all about and it is more a show for the family so the decorations certainly won't matter to him. I would opt for the standard small cake that the restaurants have on hand and let him just go at it all by himself. Make sure you bring your camera and video and lots and lots of wet wipes! Enjoy your son and his show of eating his first birthday cake and then everyone can move to the buffet line to pick out something of their choice.  If you have a little Mickey cake character you can bring that and place it on top of the small cake to jazz it up a bit for the pictures. What a great place to celebrate as Winnie the Pooh and friends will surely be a big hit with your little guy!
