We will be celebrating my son's 7th birthday at WDW in May. We have never been to WDW and wanted some suggestions on where to make our dinner reservations. Thanks

Hi, Amanda!  For my family, we like to celebrate birthdays at Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort (just a short walk or monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom.)   This is a high energy, fun filled dinner with Mickey, Minnie, and all their pals!   There is a nice buffet and a great dessert selection.

Bring along a blank birthday card so all the Disney Friends can sign it for the birthday boy!   With all the desserts, you might not need a birthday cake, but if you want to purchase one, just let them know at the podium when you check-in for your reservation.   This dining experience has a party built right in!   Don't forget your camera, this is the perfect place to get some great photos.

This is a popular dining location, so make your reservation as soon as you hit your 180 day booking window by calling (407)WDW-DINE or online at www.disneyworld.com.    Happy Birthday to your son!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
