We are celebrating my son's 5th birthday at WDW in a few weeks. I do have reservations for the pirate make-over and do plan to pick up a birthday pin. Any other suggestions? I'm afraid I'm missing something important!!

    Hi Treacy!

Celebrating birthdays in Disney is the BEST!

The Pirate's League is the perfect start to the celebration!  And yes, be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any of the Parks for an "It's My Birthday" pin.  Your son will very likely get some special attention wearing that button during his visit to Walt Disney World!

Also, make sure you tell everyone it's his birthday - your servers at the restaurants, the front desk when you arrive at your Resort, and even call the operator on your Resort phone to request a special birthday message!

Another great way to celebrate is with a Character Dinner at one of the many locations throughout WDW.  Our favorite is Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort.  You can even order a special birthday cake there by calling ahead at least 48 hours in advance to (407) 827-2253.

Have a magical celebration in Walt Disney World!
