We will be celebrating my son's 13th birthday while in WDW. I would like to get him a cake & one of the birthday totes, but he doesn't want to do a character meal. Can I buy them seperate? Thanks so much for all the wonderful advice that you give out.

Hi, Ginger!  You don't have to go to a character meal to celebrate a birthday or get a cake.  You can have a cake sent to any restaurant or even your resort room!   Just call the cake hotline at (407)827-2253.  For more great ideas on how to customize your celebration, click HERE.

I hope your son has a wonderful 13th Birthday at Disney World.  Make sure he picks up a free "Happy Birthday" button at guest services!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
