    Hello, We will be celebrating my son’s birthday at Walt Disney World in March. I was wondering if we purchase him gifts in the park is there any way to have them gift wrapped? Or should I bring wrapped gifts on the plane from home? Thanks!

    Hi there Allison!

    Thank you for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in March to celebrate your son's birthday! It will no doubt be an experience that both you and he will remember forever.

    There is unfortunately to my knowledge not a gift wrap option included for gifts that you purchase while on property at the Walt Disney World Resort.  There are often gift boxes and tissue paper available for fragile items at the shops around property. If you would love to wrap his presents on your trip, I would recommend bringing along some of your favorite wrapping paper that is folded flat for easy transportation in your suitcases, along with a small pair of scissors (not in your carry-on of course!) and some tape. Of course, you could bring your own wrapped gifts with you, but the paper may end up crumpled in your luggage. 

    During your trip, there will no doubt be an abundance of wonderful gifts and treasures that will be available for him (or you!) to choose from as birthday gifts in and around the Disney Parks.  The largest of these is World of Disney at Disney Springs - a store which deserves its own dedicated chunk of time to explore!  Another favorite is Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park, right on Main Street, U.S.A.

    And if you really want to add a little bit more pixie dust to make your boy's birthday something he will certainly never forget, consider Disney Floral & Gifts.  They offer an amazing array of birthday surprises, from a beautiful personalized cake all the way to a full in-room surprise and your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room complete with plenty of birthday magic!

    Lastly, especially since you'll be traveling home by plane, consider buying some of your gifts at the parks and ordering some from ShopDisney to be waiting for him once you get home! ShopDisney does offer gift wrap for $6.95 per item, and he will no doubt be overjoyed by the sight of some beautifully wrapped Disney packages upon his return home!
