We are celebrating my son’s birthday at the restaurant Toledo at the Coronado Springs Resort. I would like to request a table next to a window with a view of the fireworks. We are not staying at the resort, nor at any Disney hotel. How can I contact them?

    Hello Zach,

Thanks for stopping by to ask a question at planDisney, and be sure to wish your son an early Happy Birthday! Dinner at Toledo - Tapas, Steak & Seafood sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate. I have heard fantastic things about the view. Although I don't believe they pipe music in, you can see fireworks from Harmonious at EPCOT. In the past you've also been able to see Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular in Hollywood Studios, but that show hasn't opened back up yet.

If you haven't already made your reservation, I recommend doing it the old fashioned way - by phone. You can make a dining reservation 60 days in advance. Call (407) 939-3463 and speak directly with a cast member who can help book your meal for you. Be sure to tell them that you are celebrating a special event and would like to view the fireworks if possible. They can't make any guarantees, but they can make a note of your celebration in your reservation.

While Disney cast members can't guarantee a table, they do love helping make celebrations more magical if possible. I recommend arriving at your reservation at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time. Let the hostess know that you are celebrating a birthday and ask to be seated where you can view the fireworks. Keep in mind you may have to wait slightly longer for your table.

Hope this helps, and I've got my fingers crossed for a little pixie dust to be sent your way!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
