    We will be celebrating my son's 6th birthday in June. We have celebrated his 7 year old sister's birthday at Cinderella's Castle for 3 year. My ? is what is a "boy" or "manly" restaurant to celebrate a birthday at?

    Catherine,

    So other than going after the Disney Junior Characters at Hollywood & Vine (in Hollywood Studios), or Mickey and friends at their many restaurants, there really are not boy-themed equivalents to all the princess-themed meals.

    What I would recommend for a little boy is something that really speaks to a rollicking good time. Some of my top suggestions would be;

    • Hoop Dee Doo Review - lots of fun, very active, and the food is pretty good
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe - Again, fun, but a bit more affordable
    • 50s Prime Time Cafe - Certainly not "boy themed" but let the server know it is his birthday, and let the fun ensue
    • 'Ohana - like Whispering Canyon Cafe, but with an island theme
    • ESPN Club - but only if he is a huge sports fan already
    Otherwise, worry less about the venue being the source of the celebration, and just pick the foods that he likes best. I am sure he will have fun either way!

    I hope that this helps. Write me back from my bio page with more info on what he likes and I can refine the recommendations!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
