Hello we will be celebrating my son's 18th birthday in Disney Land from Feb. 8, 2024 to Feb. 12, 2024 then heading to Aulani! Will Disney Land still be celebrating 100 years in February? Thanks.

Hi, Melissa-"Welcome Home" to planDisney and Happy New Year to you!

What a wonderful birthday celebration you have planned for your son. I am sure your family will make memories that you will cherish for years to come!

The Disney100 celebration has brought all sorts of magic to Disneyland Resort, from sparkling decorations to unique merchandise and food offerings. I spoke with a cast member at Disneyland Resort, who let me know that there is currently no specific end date for the Disney100 celebration. You can check the Disney Parks Blog closer to your arrival date for the most up-to-date information.

Great news! You will be at Disneyland Resort during the Lunar New Year celebration at Disney California Adventure Park, which runs from January 23 to February 18. Add your wishes and dreams for the upcoming year to the Lucky Wishes Wall and be sure to catch Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession, which occurs throughout the day. You'll also be able to visit with Mickey, Minnie and friends dressed in their festive best and enjoy tasty Asian-inspired treats at the Lunar New Year Marketplaces. It's a truly special time at Disneyland Resort!

I noticed that you'll be heading beyond the reef to Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa following your time at Disneyland Resort. Aulani holds a special place for our family and it's a perfect place to continue your celebrations for this milestone birthday. Don't miss the nighttime luau, Ka Wa'A--it's an amazing experience that incorporates traditional Hawaiian food, storytelling, song and dance. My daughters still talk about it!

Melissa, I hope these tips are helpful for you as your trip is "just around the riverbend". Please don't hesitate to visit planDisney again before your vacation if we can answer any additional questions!

    See Ya Real Soon!
