We are celebrating my sons Birthday at Chef Mickey’s, can I bring my own cake to the restaurant?

    Hi Sarah!

Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is one of my favorite restaurants to celebrate a birthday!  We had a tradition to always eat there for our kids birthdays, but we broke that tradition this year and went to 'Ohana at their request, another one of my favorite restaurants

We have ordered beautiful custom cakes through Disney and have also brought our own numerous times.  Most Walt Disney World restaurants are not able to store a cake you bring for you while you are eating your meal because of possible cross contamination, but you are more than welcome to bring it in and they will supply plates, utensils and a candle if you forget to bring your own.

Don't forget to pick up a complimentary birthday button at any Guest Relations located throughout the parks, Disney Springs or at the front desk at any Disney Resort hotel.  We just returned from a birthday trip the Cast Members love to recognize special occasions to make the kids feel special.

Wishing your son a very happy birthday!
