We are going to be celebrating our Son's 1st Bday during our trip in May. We have reservations at Chef Mickeys and are ordering a cake. Will the characters be able to gather for a picture when the cake comes to the table? Also, how much is a MM head cake?

If there is a better reason to come to the Walt Disney World resort then to have a first birthday, I have not heard it yet! You all are going to create such great memories on this vacation. Sharing these at Chef Mickey's at the Disney's Contemporary Hotel will make it extra special. Everyone's favorite mouse and many of his friends are going to join you for some warm welcomes, perfect pictures and maybe even a hug and high five! I must tell you that when my daughter was younger she was a bit nervous around the characters. We have a great shot of her and Goofy and she is not happy! Just something to be aware of. As for a Mickey Mouse cake, these can be arranged and brought to your meal. It may take some doing but the guest service members of Disney Dining are always happy to make a birthday more magical. The cakes are available at most table-service restaurants. To order any custom bakery cake, call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 827-2253. You must order at least 48 hours ahead of time. One last note, be aware of the cancellation policy at Chef Mickey's. Just review the link that I have attached. Have a marvelous vacation and happy early birthday to the little guy.
