Celebrating my parents' 50th anniv at WDW. ADR at Aloha Luau. Will be ordering cake but not sure when to serve it. Are there breaks in show when food is served or just during the show? Should cake be brought out with dessert or after the show?

    Aloha Cynthia!

Congratulations to your parents! Disney World is the perfect place to celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is a great place for a celebration dinner.

There are short breaks when the food is served so that you don't miss any of the action of the show.  They served us salad and drinks as soon as we were seated.  There was a little break between that and the main course and another one when dessert was brought out.  I would have them bring out the cake with dessert.  If you are going to the first show of the evening, they will start cleaning up as soon as its over and get ready for the second show. If you wait until the end, I think you'd be too rushed and celebrating 50 years is something that should be enjoyed to the fullest.

Auntie Wini does recognize celebrations so your parents may get the chance to join them on stage for a dance so keep your cameras ready.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
