We are celebrating our 18th at MNSSHP and I am trying to make a decision on my Maleficent costume. I have read the rules on the website, but someone said on a FB blog that security might consider full green face paint the same as a mask. Is this true?

    Hi Jene!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and have been attending since my boys were young. I am constantly amazed at the creativity Guests have with costumes. I could just sit and watch people walking by all night in their awesome outfits!

I know you said you read them, but here is a link to costume guidelines for the party for further reference. I have seen many Guests attend the party with a full face of paint. In fact, my favorite group costumes from this year were a set of friends dressed as the characters from the Disney movie, Coco. Many of them had their faces covered in white paint. So, I think your green face will be just fine!

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions and have a Not-So-Scary Happy 18th Anniversary!!
