    Celebrating our 4 kids' (5, 4, & 1 yr old twins) 1st Disney Visit May 8-14 - so excited! Using the DDP will there be required gratuity (party of 6 but only 4 of us are on the DP) & how can that be paid for? Any tips for traveling w/ so many littl

    Hi Louis! I'm so excited for your family's first Disney vacation too! Unfortunately, part of your question got cut off, so I will answer the first part only.

    All parties of six or more automatically have an 18% gratuity added to full service restaurant bills. Be sure to advise your server who in your party is on the Disney Dining Plan, and how you want the bills divided. They will take care of it, and each bill will have the gratuity for that portion added. You can pay for the gratuity, as well as any other charges not covered by the dining plan (i.e. alcoholic beverages, appetizers, etc.) in a variety of ways - cash, room charge, Disney gift card or Disney dollars. Your choice.
