I can tell you from experience that it is very fun to have people recognize that it is your special day! If you decide to go to dinner, most table-service restaurants also have birthday cakes available (at a cost of $21 for a 6-inch cake which serves 4-5 people and is available in both chocolate and vanilla). No notice is necessary; you can order upon arrival. You can also order a custom cake by calling the 'cake hotline' at (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance.
