We will be celebrating kids bdays on our next visit. I would like to have dinner at Coral Reef one evening & I have seen a video where a diver will swim down and put up a happy birthday sign for the kids. How do I go about doing this, what is the cos

    Hi Michelle,
Celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World is so much fun!

I did some research on the Coral Reef diver.  Unfortunately, this birthday surprise is no longer available. But there is still lots of birthday fun!

As you enter a theme park, make sure to stop by guest relations (inside the part entrance) to pick up a complimentary Birthday Celebration button which your children can wear it throughout the day.  I can tell you from experience that it is very fun to have people recognize that it is your special day!

If you decide to go to dinner, most table-service restaurants also have birthday cakes available (at a cost of $21 for a 6-inch cake which serves 4-5 people and is available in both chocolate and vanilla). No notice is necessary; you can order upon arrival.  You can also order a custom cake by calling the 'cake hotline' at (407) 827-2253 at least 48 hours in advance.

Have an absolutely wonderful birthday trip!
