Welcome back to planDisney, Kathleen! Thanks so much for sending us another question! How exciting that you will be at the Walt Disney World Resort in less than two weeks!
Celebrating birthdays at
The Most Magical Place on Earth is especially magical! Our family has celebrated many milestones and
Disney Floral & Gifts is a great way to surprise your loved one with a special gift! I'm happy to say that I just stayed at the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel this past December and Disney Floral & Gifts delivered several items that I ordered. While this location has been listed on the
Disney Floral & Gifts website previously, I have been told by my fellow panelist,
Taylor, that they are doing some website maintenance and the Swan & Dolphin Hotels can accept deliveries. You can call 407-939-4438 and speak with a Dream Maker to arrange delivery and because your arrival date is quickly approaching, I would recommend doing this as soon as possible. The items that you order will be delivered to Bell Services and you can pick them up there or ask Bell Services to deliver them to your room.
I have another option to consider for celebrating your husband's birthday! If you happen to have a
dining reservation at select restaurants, you can order a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake! All cake orders must be made at least four days prior to your dining reservation. Please
visit this page to see a list of participating dining locations and more details about how to order this fun cake!
Be sure to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button for your husband! You can find these at the theme parks and a cast member will happily personalize it! Speaking of celebrations, I'm sure you are aware that the Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating turning 50 years young too!
The World's Most Magical Celebration offers many fun things to see and do. I would recommend getting your husband's picture taken by a
Disney PhotoPass photographer right under the "50" on
Cinderella Castle at
Magic Kingdom Park!
Wishing your husband the happiest of birthdays and I wish you all a magical vacation! Please visit us again at
planDisney when you're ready to plan the next Disney vacation. We would love to help!
Smiles,
Lisa
