Hey Howdy Hey Alicia and welcome back to planDisney!
I am so excited to hear that your next trip to the Walt Disney World Resort is only days away! It is going to be an extra Magical trip with all the celebrating you will be doing for your husband's big birthday celebration as well. Thank you for stopping by with your question on items allowed in the park to celebrate. I will be happy to give you more information on what is allowed in the parks.
As far as
prohibited items in the Disney parks, small lighters and candles are not listed and should be fine to bring into the parks. If for some reason you are prevented from bringing in the lighter on your visit, don't worry as Cast Members at most table service locations should be able to help you light the candle for the celebration!
A few other suggestions to help you and your husband celebrate his special day revolve around pins and specialty cakes. If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can stop by the front desk or stop by
Guest Relations at the front of the park on your park visit. Ask for a celebration button where you can let everyone you pass know you all are celebrating a special event.
Specialty Cakes available in many resorts and table service locations across Walt Disney World are another special way to celebrate. These specialty cakes can be ordered in advance or you can put in a special request at the host podium when you check in for your table service meal. Some locations do have cakes on hand on a first-come, first-served basis. I have also seen these cakes available in limited quantities at some resort gift shops or quick-service dining locations you can check into as well. This is a super special way to celebrate during your trip!
I hope you and your travel party have an Enchanting experience celebrating your husband's big day. Please feel free to stop back with any other questions you may have, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
