Hi Taryn!
Thanks for stopping by to see us again here at planDisney! I'm excited to see that you're counting down to your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort
AND a special birthday celebration! I'm sure it will be a trip full of magic and memories.
As you know, Taryn, Cast Members love celebrating special occasions with you during your stay, and adding a note to your reservation is the perfect way to let them know about your celebration before you even arrive. This option is still available online, but it can be a bit tricky to find. First, make sure you're
accessing My Disney Experience via a web-based browser, not the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Under "My Plans and Tickets," find your upcoming resort reservation and select "Change Reservation." When the next page opens, scroll about halfway down to the section labeled "Travel Party." There, you should see the note "Celebrations." After clicking the "Add" button to the right, you'll be prompted to select your celebration, then the Guest's name, on the next page. If you booked your resort reservation through a third party, you won't see the option to modify your reservation in My Disney Experience. However, you can always
call a Cast Member at Ticket and Hotel Reservations to notify them of the birthday celebration before your arrival.
If you're looking for a way to add an extra pinch of pixie dust to your visit, you may want to check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection, which includes some fabulous experiences such as tours, dessert parties, classes, and more. Our family has celebrated several special occasions over the years with reservations for one of the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties. Not only can you enjoy a delicious buffet of desserts and beverages, but you'll also have reserved seating for
Happily Ever After. It's a perfect way to end your day at
Magic Kingdom Park!
I hope this information has been helpful, Taryn, and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World next month! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
