Hi Moms, We will be Celebrating our Honeymoon at Disney in Florida May 14-21st 2013. Wondering where I can take her to Dinner that is in a Private Romantic Location but stay with in the Park? Also with in a Strict Budget too?

    Hi Steven,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!  My husband and I honeymooned at Walt Disney World too.  That was twenty-two years ago and it was a wonderful start to our marriage.

I happen to think that the San Angel Inn located inside the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot is one of the most romantic places to dine at Walt Disney World.  The prices are quite reasonable too.  Ask the host or hostess for a table near the water.  Then you and your new wife can watch the boats glide by as you dine.

If you're over at the Magic Kingdom, try the Grand Floridian Cafe.  This charming little restaurant is one of Walt Disney World's best kept secrets.  They have an extensive, reasonably priced menu and the Victorian era decor is sophisticated and romantic.  Meanwhile it is considerably less expensive than several other restaurants at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  The Grand Floridian Cafe can be reached in a matter of minutes by boat from the Magic Kingdom.

If you want to spend a delightful and romantic evening with no charge whatsoever, plan to watch the fireworks above Cinderella Castle from the beach behind Disney's Polynesian Resort.  You and your sweetheart can share a hammock there and watch the festivities.  You may even be able to catch the Electrical Water Pageant as it passes if you are there around 9 pm.  This is one of my husband's and my favorite spots.  So romantic!

Wishing you and your new wife many magical years together!

    Jill

PS.  If you wish to preview the menus and prices for the restaurants I describe above, check out the independent fan site, www.allears.net.  Then be sure to call (407) WDW-DINE to make reservations for the restaurant you choose.
