Hello! I will be celebrating my high school graduation w/ a few friends in WDW. I was wondering if here was anything special that I can do that can help us celebrate. Also I read about special occasion cakes... Where is the best place to do that?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love the way you celebrate. In fact, when I graduated from high school, I was given the amazing gift of an Annual Pass by some wonderful friends. There are many ways to celebrate your achievement at the Walt Disney World Resort, but I do have a few in mind.

First of all, make sure to pick up a complimentary "I'm Celebrating!" button from one of the Vacation Planning Booths in the parks. This is a fun way to let Cast Members and Disney Characters join in the fun with some extra high-fives and well wishes.

If you plan to dine at any table-service restaurants, you will be able to request a Celebrate Today! cake upon arrival at the restaurant if you so choose. This is a small chocolate or vanilla cake that is available to purchase at most table-service restaurants in Walt Disney World Resort. I recommend making reservations in advance if there is a particular restaurant you hope to enjoy.

Finally, you and your friends may enjoy making your own celebration T-shirts at Disney Design-A-Tee shop at Downtown Disney Marketplace. The Downtown Disney area is full of fun entertainment, shops, dining and nightlife to enjoy as well.

I hope you have an awesome vacation with your friends, Ashley. Congratulations and best wishes!
