Celebrating DS's 2nd Birthday at Disneyworld in September. He LOVES water - which water park for a 2-year old? We frequent the Disneyland Hotel - and he even loves their small waterslide!

Hi Amy!  I love how you mention the small waterside at the Disneyland Hotel!  We just returned from a week at the Grand Californian and we had my daughter's birthday party at the Redwood Pool!  She had a blast on the little slide that was "just her size."

I actually love both water parks, but because of your son's age, I think I'll have to recommend Blizzard Beach.  There is a fabulous play area, Tike's Peak, which is specifically designed for and tailored to younger children.  If he loves the small slides at Disneyland he's gonna have a blast at Blizzard Beach because Tike's Peak features several smaller slides that are "just his size" and some even have tunnels! On top of all this, you'll even find sandboxes, pop-up water sprayers, and a shallow wading area...WITH, might I add, a soft-bottom...so no "knee boo-boos."

Blizzard Beach is also home to a few attractions you can enjoy together, including Cross Country Creek, the lazy river.  Here, he can ride in an inner tube with you as you float along and relax while enjoying the fantastic theming and funky musical mix of beach tunes and Christmas carols!  Too funny!

Enjoy, and please keep those questions coming,
